Miami Fish Market unveils elevated Fish & Chips Menu

Miami, GOLD COAST – April 15, 2024

Opening just under three years ago, Miami Fish Market has made its mark as Gold Coast’s premium seafood retailer; working with a network of carefully selected local fishermen and Australia’s best seafood producers.

In exciting news, Miami Fish Market, will be launching a much anticipated fish & chips menu this Thursday; their first foray into cooked menu items. It will be “Fish & Chips”, but not quite as you know it.

In line with Miami Fish Market’s ongoing commitment to sourcing and providing the best seasonal seafood available, the fixed menu will feature family friendly classics, such as line caught local Snapper, New Zealand Hoki and a classic fish burger – but will also serve up a more adventurous range including, whole flash fried Whitebait, School Prawns, Five Spice Kingfish wings and kombu butter glazed Patagonian Toothfish. For those feeling a little indulgent, there will be the option for some cheeky add-ons, such as caviar for your potato scallop.

In addition to the fixed menu, customers will be able to select their very own fillet of fish from the extensive retail display, cooked to their liking. Working in line with seasonal availability, options could include anything from hyper local daily catches, King George Whiting from Victoria, Coral Trout from Far North Queensland to Swordfish and Mahi Mahi from Mooloolaba.

A fresh salad bar, including the Gloftis family Greek salad, will be on daily rotation.

Paul & Fallon Gloftis, the husband-and-wife duo behind Miami Fish Market, have created the menu together, including some of their favourite dishes from abroad; scrutinising every detail, from the special recipe batter to the house made sauces.

Paul Gloftis said, “We are so excited and proud to be in the position to offer our valued customers real fish and chips. Not frozen, mislabeled, mystery produce – which unfortunately is all too common across the industry.”

He continued, “We have spent a good two and bit years building up our select network of premium Australian seafood produces for our retail store – and now customers will have access to this same beautiful fish, to be cooked up their favourite way, all in a super casual setting. It’s pretty special and a completely different offering to anything else you will find on the Gold Coast.”

The much-anticipated menu will debut this Thursday, April 18th, and will be available seven days a week from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Please note that phone orders will not be accepted initially, however online orders will be launching soon, providing added convenience for patrons.
